Brad Ewing Joins Millsaps College as a Major Gifts Officer
Millsaps College announces the addition of Brad Ewing as a major gifts officer. “Brad brings unique experiences and skills to the College after many years of success in sales, marketing, and business management,” said Mike Hutchison, vice president for institutional advancement.
As a major gifts officer, Ewing will work to engage alumni, parents, and friends of the College, to identify their philanthropic interests and match those with Millsaps’ priorities in support of academic programs, capital needs, and the College’s endowment.
Most recently, Ewing was corporate director of marketing at JBHM Education Group, a Jackson-based educational consulting firm. Under his direction, the company implemented innovative marketing strategies that yielded unprecedented growth in services across Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
Ewing previously worked as a business process analyst for The Harbour Group, a software development company in Ridgeland. Prior to joining The Harbour Group, he spent nearly 20 years in professional sports. This part of his career included ten years with the NBA’s Houston Rockets and several seasons in minor league hockey, most notably as general manager of the Jackson Bandits.
Ewing earned a B.B.A. in accounting from Siena College, a liberal arts school in Loudonville, N.Y. in 1982.
